What is block coding?
Instead of typing commands, you connect colored blocks. Each block is a real instruction, like "jump", "move right" or "take key". Blocks only fit together in ways that make sense, so you spend your time thinking about the idea, not about missing brackets.
2️⃣
The ideas you practise
Every level introduces one concept: running instructions in order, reacting to events such as a key press or touching a coin, making decisions with conditions such as "if you have a key", and combining small pieces into a full game.
3️⃣
From blocks to real programming
The same ideas power every programming language. Once events, conditions and sequences feel natural, moving on to text languages like JavaScript or Python is much easier.
